I'm glad that we had time to meet with Dr. Glazewski and Dr. Leftwich. Although our group spent lots of time discussing our purpose, objectives and content for our major project, there are still many aspects/fundamental elements of instructional design that we didn't consider. After talking to Dr. G and Dr. L, I realized that the most important things that we should keep in mind throughout the whole designing process are "what is the purpose of the instructional design?", "What are the design objectives as well as the objectives for audience?", also, "what are the values and meanings for audience after they learn from the instruction?" I believe that once designers can easily and clearly answer these question, the design process would be a lot smoother and the design product would be useful and meaningful to learners.
