Title: Why Teaching Technology Lab (TTL)?

Type of Infographic: Advocacy

Purpose / Goal:

To show W200 students that TTL is a place where they can access different kinds of service and resources from the TTL Staff. Moreover, advertise the TTL Staff’s service. The goal of creating this infographic is to let more W200 students know the service the TTL staff provide and go to TTL as often as they need in order to support their learning.

There will be three levels of information in my infographic.

Level 1: 96% of TTL visitors in Fall 2012 were satisfied with the TTL service.

Narrative Description of Design and / or Sketches of the Functional Areas:

Because the main information in this infographic was categorized in three levels, the message in each level will be distinguished by using different sizes of font. The icon of WiFi will be applied as the image framework in my infographic. The gradient of a color will be applied on the WiFi icon in order to display the level of detail of information in each level. For the purpose of giving my audience the impression that TTL is a comfortable place to work and the TTL Staff is friendly, warm colors will be used more than cool colors.
